2. Description of Service
TrueHEIC provides a free, browser-based, client-side conversion utility allowing users to convert High Efficiency Image Container (HEIC / HEIF) image files into JPEG and PNG formats.
All media decoding, manipulation, and re-encoding occur locally on your machine via client-side WebAssembly (WASM). TrueHEIC does not operate image-processing servers and does not retain, view, or transmit your files.
3. User Content & Intellectual Property
- You Retain 100% Ownership: You retain complete, unrestricted copyright and ownership over any photographs, graphics, or files you load into TrueHEIC.
- No License Granted: Because TrueHEIC does not receive your files, you grant no license or rights to TrueHEIC regarding your uploaded content.
- Authorized Use: You agree that you hold the legal authority or necessary permissions to format-shift and convert any image files processed using this utility.
4. Third-Party Advertisements & Monetization
TrueHEIC is offered free of charge. To support hosting, domain management, and ongoing development, the website displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense and authorized ad exchanges.
Advertisers may use cookies or web beacons in accordance with applicable advertising policies. You agree not to manipulate, artificially click, or programmatically simulate traffic on advertisements displayed on TrueHEIC.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Service Provided “As Is”
TrueHEIC is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the conversion service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every non-standard or corrupt HEIC container variant.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall TrueHEIC, its creators, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use this service, including loss of data, loss of business, or hardware malfunctions.

Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and iOS are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. TrueHEIC is an independent web application and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc.
